What is G:loot?

G:loot is a real money gaming platform. We make it possible to play for real money in games of skill on your desktop. Challenge people all over the world in your favorite games and cash in on your gaming skills!

How do I join a G:loot challenge?

Once you have an account you are free to participate in any G:loot challenge. If you want to play for real money, you will have to deposit money first.

Are G:loot challenges equal for all participants?

All players of a challenge are given the exact same conditions to make the gameplay equal. No player can purchase or obtain any advantages over other players. G:loot does not profit on the outcome of a real-money challenge and has no interest in who wins or loses.

How do I win money from a G:loot challenge?

If you join a challenge for real money and place among the winners (can be several), you will receive a part of the stake pot depending on how many participants and what type of challenge you have joined (See next question).

Are real money challenges considered gambling?

All the games in which you can play G:loot challenges are based on skill and ability, rather than luck or chance. Therefore G:loot challenges are considered skill-based gaming and not gambling.

How do I raise a complaint

Should you wish to raise a complaint, please do so via email. We care about your gaming experience, and will review your complaint with priority. We will contact you back via a communication method of your choice, normally within 24 hours. G:loot is committed to ensuring that any received complaints or disputes are dealt with in a fair, open and timely manner.

How is the pot divided between players of a challenge?

Pot distribution: For challenges with 2 participants the player with the best result will win entire pot. For challenges with 3 or several participants the best 10% of participants each win a part of the pot. The displayed pot in a G:loot challenge is always based on full participation. If a challenge finishes without full participation, the pot distribution changes to the actual number of participants.

How do I create a G:loot account?

Creating an account is simply done by creating one manually with your email. You can always change your email later and choose a username, password and a profile picture (optional).

Where can I see my finished challenges?

You can view your tournament history by tapping “Finished” in the Tournament’s view, accessed through the top left corner menu > Tournaments.

How do I change my Username?

You can change your Username by going to the top menu > You (Name), tap the line Username.

I can’t log in/I forgot my username or password, what can I do?

We handle every account manually for your safety. To change your password, you will need to email our support team. We care about your gaming experience and will handle your password concern with priority. support@gloot.com

May I open another G:loot account?

No. You may only open one account or have only one active G:loot account. If you open additional accounts G:loot, support may come to refuse your account, or refund your current balance and close down your existing account without further justification.

Can I open an account for somebody else?

A G:loot account must be in your own name, all activity on your G:loot account must be made by you, and you must take full responsibility for this. You may under no circumstances deposit money that does not belong to you. G:loot accounts must never be made or used in someone else\’s name, and G:loot will always ensure that we are in contact with the proper account holder before discussing any account.

Are my personal details secure?

Your personal privacy and security on our platform is our prime concern. Only you know your account’s password and G:loot never keeps your password on our servers. All accounts details and communication you may enter are sent with SSL-encryption and are kept in plain text on our secure database. This means that personal details you enter, including login details, are prevented from leaking even through a Wifi-connection.

How much is the G:loot Service fee?

From all bets in G:loot we charge a service fee (or so called “rake”). Our service fee is currently 9,9% of each bet, with a minimum fee of approximately 0,13$ or 0,1€.

What Payment methods do you accept?

You can fund your G:loot account using your Visa or Master Card as well as using your PayPal account. Please see our payment section in the G:loot platform by tapping the wallet-icon > Deposit.

How do I deposit and withdraw money from my G:loot account?

G:loot offers a quick, simple and user-friendly solution for deposits and withdrawals. Money is transferred from and to your VISA, Master Card or PayPal account. Deposits are instant and withdrawals take 1-5 business days for issuing, depending on which bank you have. For full information on deposits and withdrawals please see our terms and conditions.

Where can I see my account history?

You can view your account’s transaction history in your G:loot wallet. Simply tap the wallet-icon and then “History”, and you will see all transactions related to your account.

How long will my deposit take?

Deposits to your G:loot account are instant (within seconds), regardless of what payment method you use.

How long will a money withdrawal take?

Withdrawals made back to your Visa or MasterCard take 1-5 business days depending on your bank. Withdrawals to PayPal account are usually quicker.

Why can’t I make a deposit to my account?

The Deposit section on the G:loot platform can be accessed via the wallet-icon > Deposit. Please check that your payment details are correct.  If your deposit is declined by your payment provider, we will not be given the reason for this. If you use VISA or MasterCard, your Card Security Number (the last three digits on the signature strip on the back of your card, also known as the CV2 number) must be entered correctly. For reasons beyond our control, some card issuers may block your deposit, particularly if this is the first time you are using G:loot. We advise you to contact your payment provider to resolve this. If you have further difficulties with your deposit, please contact us via email. We care about your gaming experience and will give priority to assisting you.

Why can’t I withdraw money from my account?

The Withdraw section on the G:loot platform can be accessed via the wallet-icon > Withdraw. You may not be able to withdraw money if your payment details or payment method have expired, is no longer in use or in any way is blocked by your payment provider. If you experience any problem withdrawing money from your account, please contact us through email. Be sure to state the time and date of your withdrawal problem. We will give priority to quickly resolving the issue for you.

Can I send my withdrawal back to another account, credit card or payment method?

No, withdrawals should be issued back to the same payment method and account from where the funds were initially deposited. This is due to rules and regulations that allows us only to process money back to accounts that previously has made a deposit. If you experience any problem withdrawing money from your account, please contact us through email. Be sure to state the time and date of your withdrawal problems. We will give priority to quickly resolving the issue for you.

Is there a maximum deposit, stake, or balance in G:loot?

Yes, every G:loot user account has a maximum deposit of 300 Euro per transaction and a maximum account balance of 2000 Euro. The maximum bet per game is 10 Euro.

Are my Payment/Transaction details secure?

Yes. Your personal security on our platform is our prime concern. None of your Credit Card or PayPal account information is saved on our servers. To ensures that details you enter cannot be accessed, misused or leaked, all transactions are processed using Certitrade technology with SSL 128-bit encryption.

What security is in place on G:loot’s platform?

We have technology in place to effectively manage all security aspects from client identification, location verification, geo-blocking to fraud prevention and anti-money laundering. We also provide you with transaction-related support to give you a secure gaming experience.

How do you prevent cheating?

We use several technical mechanisms to prevent cheating on our platform and to continuously ensure that there are no suspicious behavior and/or results on G:loot accounts.

What happens if I receive a phone call or lose connection during a money challenge?

We recommend having a strong and reliable Wifi as well as making sure you will not be disturbed when playing G:loot challenges. If you are disconnected during gameplay, please re-establish your internet connection and return to G:loot. You may be able to pick up where you left, with only minor damage (if any) to your final result. In some special games where leaving the gameplay could be considered attempted cheating, the challenge may report your current score as your final result.

What is G:loot?

G:loot is a real money tournament platform. We make it possible to play for real money in games of skill on your PC. Participate with people all over the world in your favorite games and cash in on your gaming skills!

How do I create a G:loot account?

Creating an account requires that you download the G:LOOT desktop app. Upon launch you are asked to register you account. This is simply done by entering your email address, choosing a username and a password. You can always change this information later, and set a profile picture (optional). You will also need to connect your steam ID to finish the registration process and to participate in tournaments.

Can I create an account for someone else?

G:loot accounts are for personal usage only, this meaning that you are responsible for all activity on the account. Your G:loot account should never be shared to anyone.

How do I change account?

Any such change of account must be done in contact with out support. Hit us up with an email with your request, we will review it and get back to you asap

What is region?

Regions determine your preferable servers’ location. This is automatically set to the network closest to your region.

How do I change my region?

When you login, go to find match and enter the region’s servers with which you want to connect.

I can’t log in/I forgot my username or password, what can I do?

To change your password, make sure you are logged out and facing the start screen. Click the text “Forgot Password?”, enter your email address in its designated field and hit Send. Check your email inbox.

How can I change profile information?

Go to Profile, edit the information you want to change and then click Save Changes

May I open another G:loot account?

No. You may only open one G:loot account. If you open additional accounts, G:loot may refuse your account, or even close down your existing account without further justification.

Why do I have to authorize for Steam?

In order for automatic server triggers to function properly, we need to know what Steam ID to invite into our servers. If you participate in one of our tournaments, it’s crucial for us to have your Steam ID in order to pay out winnings to you.

My Steam authorization doesn’t work, what do I do?

If you have any problems with Steam authorization send us an email with your account information to support@gloot.com and we will help you out.

Can I change Steam user ID?

You are not allowed to change your Steam ID or account. If you still want to disconnect your Steam ID from G:Loot, please send us an email with your account information and reason for disconnecting, to support@gloot.com.

Where can I see my account history?

You can view your account’s transaction history in your G:loot wallet. Simply click the Wallet in your left hand menu, and scroll down to “History”. Here you’ll find all transactions related to your account.

How do I change my Username?

You can change your Username through your Profile in your left hand menu.

How do I join a G:loot tournament?

Once you have an account you are able to participate in any G:loot tournament of your region. If you want to play for real money, you will have to make a deposit first. Select game mode and Stake, then click Play to queue up. Once opponents are found you are assigned a server and the game is on!

Where can I see my finished tournaments?

You can view your tournament history by going to “Match History” in the left hand menu.

What are the different kinds of maps you have?

We provide all essential maps you play in competitive CS:GO: Mirage, Cache, Inferno, Overpass, Cobblestone, Train, Nuke, Dust II, Canals, Aztek, Dust, Vertigo, Office, Italy and Assault.

How do I win money from a G:loot’s tournament?

If you join a tournament for real money and take a place among the winners (there can be several), you will receive a part of the prize pool immediately after the match statistics have been calculated by our servers. Your amount of winnings depend on your result, number of participants and what type of tournament you have joined (See next question).

How is the prize pool divided between players of tournaments with several participants?

Prize distribution: For tournaments with 2 participants the player with the best result will win entire prize. In Free-for-all tournaments with 8 or more participants the best 50% of participants each win a part of the prize.

What happens if I disconnect or lose internet connection during a money tournament?

If you are disconnected during a 1 VS 1 contest you will lose the current round to your opponent. In an FFA contest the game will continue without you until you reconnect. Please re-establish your internet connection as soon as possible and return to the game by pressing connect in the G:loot client. If you do not return to the game within 3 minutes you will be disqualified.

Which game modes do you support in CS:GO?

For the early access client we have enabled 1VS1 and FFA. We will launch 2VS2 and 5VS5 in due time.

I joined a match but I can’t log in to the server. What do I do?

If you are not able to connect to our servers, please close down and restart CS:GO, and then click on Connect in the G:loot client. Connection to servers shall be instant.

CS:GO won’t start, will I automatically be disqualified?

If you are unable to start CS:GO to connect to  a 1VS1 contest, it will be cancelled after 5 minutes. The 1VS1 won’t start until you’re in the game and without you, your stake will be returned to your Wallet. An FFA contest will start without you, but you still have up to 5 minutes to successfully start CS:GO and connect. Do this as soon as possible. If you’re not participating in the FFA, you will be disqualified and your stake will be part of the prize pool.

What happens if my 1 VS 1 opponent doesn’t join the game?

If your opponent doesn’t join the game, your reserved stake is returned. If your opponent leave during the match, you’ll automatically win on walk-over.

How do I download a replay?

To download a replay, go to your match history, select a finished match and click download.

Why can’t I enter my own stake?

In G:loot early access, all stakes are pre-set. In due time, we will release adjustable entries to some game modes.

Are G:loot tournaments equal for all participants?

To make the gameplay equal for all, all participants of a tournament are given the exact same conditions. No player can purchase or obtain any advantages over other players. G:loot does not profit on the outcome of a tournament and has no interest in who wins or loses.

For how long will my money be reserved?

Your money will be reserved until the ongoing contest finishes or cancels.

Statistics for my match doesn’t show up?

If your statistics doesn’t show immediately in your match history, please restart the G:LOOT client.

I won money in a tournament you’re hosting, how long will it take before it’s on my account?

At the latest, money from tournaments will hit your account the day after you won the tournament.

What do you do against cheating?

We immediately take actions against violations of conduct and cheating. Freezing of accounts with funds and inevitable ban may occur after inspection confirms cheating.

I think I’ve encountered a cheater, what do I do?

If you suspect cheating in our service, please contact support. All G:LOOT contests are recorded, so expect that they be reviewed. Please describe the nature of cheating that you suspect and, if possible, what player you believe has conducted it. If possible, also include match ID when reporting a player or contest. Send this to support@gloot.com.

Can I get VAC-banned using the G:loot client?

Our client will not cause a VAC-ban. However, cheating in CS:GO will still cause VAC ban!

What is EAC?

EasyAntiCheat is an anti–cheat service, using hybrid anti–cheat mechanisms to counter hacking and cheating. With an integrated EAC-system in G:loot, preventing cheats on a high technical level is guaranteed.

Are my personal details secure?

Your personal privacy and security on our platform is our prime concern. Only you should know your account’s password, and even G:loot does not have access to it. All account details and communication you may enter in the G:LOOT platform are sent with SSL-encryption and are kept encrypted. This means that personal details you enter, including login details, are prevented from leaking, even over a Wifi-connection.

What currencies do you support?

Currently G:LOOT supports AUS, CAD, EUR, GBP, SEK and USD. If your currency is not supported, your G:LOOT account’s currency will be set to one of the above depending on your location. Your bank may charge you a conversion fee from your payment method’s currency to the currency set for your G:LOOT account.

What kind of servers do you have?

Our servers use 128 tickrate

Where are the servers located?

In the early access version, our servers are located in central Europe.

Are the servers VAC enabled?
Yes

I want to play with my team? When do you support that?

We do not support 5 VS 5 in our early access client. We will release an updated client in due time.

Can I invite friends to play against on G:loot?

Sure, “it ain’t no fun until the homies lose some”. You’re welcome to invite your friends and play tournaments against each other. However, support to play in the same tournaments with/against your friends is not available in early access. 🙁

I live in the US, can I play G:loot?

As of now, G:LOOT is live with our early access in Europe only. Stay tuned for further releases, through our social media channels.

What kind of operating systems do you support?

G:loot have limited support for Windows 7. We highly recommend Windows 10 for the full G:loot experience.

What’s the minimum requirements to play G:loot?

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor or better Ram: 2 GB — OS: Windows 10 /Windows 7 — Video Card: Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 3.0

How much is the G:loot Service fee?
